liupurnomo.com is the personal blog of Liu Purnomo, a drone pilot and instructor in Indonesia. Most articles are written from my own work and experience. Some, especially news and industry updates, also show images, quotes, or data that belong to other people and organizations. This page explains why, and what you can do if any of that material is yours.
1. Why we show content from other sources
The aim of every article is to inform readers, mostly about drones, aviation, mapping, and the technology and rules around them. To do that well, an article sometimes needs material created by others, for example:
- a product photo or press image when reporting on a new drone, aircraft, or device,
- a chart, diagram, or figure from a report, study, or regulation being discussed,
- a short quote from an official statement, interview, or announcement,
- a screenshot that shows what an app, website, or video looks like.
This material is shown to report, explain, review, or comment on the subject. It is not shown to pass the work off as my own, and no ownership of it is claimed. Where I know the source, I name it or link to it so readers can go to the original.
2. What stays yours
Copyright and other rights in third-party images, text, logos, and trademarks remain with their owners. The terms of use and the content license of this site apply to my own writing only. They do not give anyone permission to reuse material that belongs to someone else.
3. About the watermark
Images in articles on this site are shown with a small liupurnomo.com watermark. It is added automatically to every article image, including images that come from other sources.
The watermark is there for one reason only: to discourage other sites and automated scrapers from copying images off these pages and republishing them. It is not a claim of ownership. It does not mean I created the image, and it does not change who holds the rights to it. A third-party image keeps its original owner whether or not the watermark is on it.
If you own an image here and are not comfortable with how it is shown, you can ask for it to be replaced or removed, as described below.
4. What you can ask for
If you own an image or other content shown on this site, or act on behalf of the owner, you can ask me to:
- Credit it, by adding or correcting your name, organization, or a link to the original.
- Correct it, if the caption, description, or context around it is wrong.
- Replace it with a version you prefer, such as an official press image.
- Remove it from the article entirely.
You do not need to send a formal legal notice. A short, clear message is enough, and I am open to any of these requests.
5. How to send a request
Contact me by email or WhatsApp. To help me act quickly, please include:
- the link to the article,
- which image or passage you mean (a description or screenshot is fine),
- who you are and how the content relates to you,
- what you would like: credit, a correction, a replacement, or removal.
Every article has a notice at the bottom with buttons that open an email or WhatsApp message already naming that article. You can also write directly:
- Email: [email protected]
- WhatsApp: +62811319191
6. What happens next
I read every request myself. Once it is clear which content you mean and that the request comes from the owner or someone acting for them, I update or remove the content promptly. Removal requests are given priority. I will reply to let you know what was changed.
If a removed image also appeared in shared previews or search results, those copies are held by other services and may take some time to refresh after the change on this site.
7. Good faith
I try to use material from others fairly and to credit it properly, but mistakes happen. If something here should not be shown, or is not shown the way you would like, a message is all it takes to fix it. Thank you for helping keep the information on this site accurate and fair to everyone who creates it.
